The Employee Benefits & Retirement Programs Centre of Expertise of Alberta Health Services provides professional consulting and administrative services to the HBTA Policy Council and all participating employers.

Insurers/Providers of Services

The life and disability plans are provided through Canada Life (formerly Great-West Life). All claims for these plans are adjudicated, managed and paid by Canada Life with a unit of staff that is dedicated to the HBTA.

The accidental death & dismemberment plans are insured with Industrial Alliance and Financial Services Inc.

Supplementary Health & Dental and all Spending Accounts are adjudicated and processed by Alberta Blue Cross.
